A tranquil setting …
We were looking for somewhere to stay in the area for 3 days and were lucky to find Le Grand Moulin. The owner has restored this old mill to a wonderful standard, combining modern with new. She has a great eye for interior design and all the rooms are beautifully styled. There is the added bonus of secure parking. We would definitely recommend staying here. We hope to see you again soon!
A little piece of Paradise
When you pass through the gates of Le Grand Moulin you really do enter another world.
The old mill has been magnificently restored and the setting is very tranquil and picturesque yet just 30 yards from the town square.
To call it a Bed and Breakfast / Gite is an understatement. The rooms are huge with high ceilings and the whole place is decorated subtly and beautifully. The owner Daniele could not be more charming or helpful and the breakfast supurb.
Le Grand Moulin has a hidden courtyard to park your car with electric gates, perfect if you arrive in a classic car.
We had a fantastic time. The best!
We have 2 small children with us and the Grand Moulin was ideal. Lots of space and ideally located for our trip back to the UK from Pau in the South. We felt very welcome. The area is also great, this time we only stayed for 2 days, but we could easily have stayed for 2 weeks again.
